La bolsa masiva del cuero es una pieza contemplativa que relata a través de sus dimensiones nuestra realidad abismal consumista y las problemáticas que genera la industria masiva del cuero. Por un lado se encuentra la pedacera en tonalidades neutras, las cuales representan la naturalidad de las pieles, los ecosistemas y el ser humano sin prejuicios; por otro lado, se encuentra la aglomeración de distintas tonalidades de pedacera, simbolizando la saturación del consumismo generado por las tendencias temporales, que cada vez más van destruyendo la naturalidad de nuestro alrededor. La pieza busca recordarle al ser humano con el recorrido de las puntadas a mano, nuestra posición como seres conscientes de la importancia de la reutilización de materiales en desuso y sus distintas posibilidades de generar nuevas vidas de uso.

The massive leather bag it’s a contemplative piece that tells us a story through Its proportions about our reality as a consumer society and the problems that big leather industries create. On one side of this piece, it’s found a composition of neutral leather that represents the nature of skins, ecosystems, and the unprejudiced human being. On the other side, we found a colorful agglomeration of leather that reflects the saturation of temporal trends that lead us to consumerism and the destruction of our environment. The objective of this piece’s handmade thread path is to remind our position, as conscious human beings, of the importance of reusing wasted materials to create new and different posibilities of use.
